I have a pair of crossman safety glasses from canadian tire and I was wondering if i can protect me aganst a 495 fps pellet gun.

its not worth the risk is it? i mean loseing your eye just to find out? youll poke your eye out kid!
and to answer you…no. i do not think it well stop it.
You mean a direct hit or a ricochet? A direct hit No. I don’t think any glasses would really help that. A ricochet….yes they would help but still might not stop it.
Why risk the outcome of lousing a eye. Please go and buy a good pair of shooting glasses. The loss of your eyesight or hearing when shooting is not something to risk.Even if it is just a pellet gun protect your eyes. You owe it to yourself.
many companies such as oakley make glasses that withstand direct gun shots mostly for millitary personnel but they are avalible to the public a little pricey but better then being blind
if it is Z-87 the US’ safety rating for glasses
