Recreational and household uses of safety glasses
Even if you do not work in a hazardous environment, you may need safety glasses during everyday activities such as when playing sports (i.e. baseball or racquetball), when charging car batteries, mowing the lawn, when using household chemicals or power tools, or during sun exposure.
Safety glasses are also useful in outdoor activities such as hunting, target shooting, motorcycle riding and four-wheeling. Thus, safety glasses make both the work environment and recreational environment safer.
